Marjorie Buckley, Moira’s maternal grandmother, was Brooklyn born and raised. This pragmatic woman encouraged her three daughters to attend and graduate college at a time when most mothers only pushed for marriage. Her very curious nature and strong commitment to the natural world can be seen in the small bird collection in her room and in the bright yellow walls of her room.
The Buckley Room includes:
- Full-size bed
- Wide pine floor
- Vaulted ceiling
- Shared bath with one other room
- Writing desk
