This room is named after Mary’s grandmother. In it you will find her pedal Singer sewing machine as well as some of the quilts she made on it. You’ll also find many paintings and other arts and crafts made by this amazing artist!
This room shares a bath down the hall with one other room, the Buckley Room. It has a queen bed, closet, dresser and beautiful antique rocker. You’ll find the original wide pine floors beneath hooked rugs made by Mary. The McQuade Room also shares a large deck with the Dickie Room next door.
Below you’ll find some pictures of the quilt that won a price when it was entered in the Eastern States Exposition. You’ll also see the sewing machine that was used for all Mary’s sewing.
