Marjorie Buckley, Moira's maternal grandmother, was Brooklyn born and raised. This pragmatic woman encouraged her three daughters to attend and graduate college at a time when most mothers only pushed for marriage. Her very curious nature and strong commitment to the natural world can be seen in the small bird collection in her room and in the bright yellow walls of her room.

The Buckley room is our smallest room, with a double sized bed and cathedral ceiling. It shares a bathroom in the hall with one other room and it boasts a nice view of Mt Mansfield and the beautiful maples outside the windows.
